I took an honesty pill today so I'm going to highlight how I truly am on this day, and most days too!
I'm be the first to admit that most the time around the house, I'm lounging out in my pajamas, ALL DAY! Some days I even get my workout clothes on, only to end up staying home and cleaning the house in them all day.
But...Then, there are times you just have to fancy up a bit. Curl your hair and put on those new shoes that you love so much! It makes you feel like a LADAY!
Did I get a shower in yet? Yes. I got lucky this day!
Aka this picture:
(Anyone ever tell you how hard it is to get a self portrait in the mirror without looking ridicous? Well no one is ever around to snap the ones of me, so I take it upon myself when I feel liberated. it helps with my self concious mood if nothing else.)
Oh yeah, on to the truth of the matter at hand. Me and my continued honesty.
I purchased this new laundry center to help with laundry and it has. But yesterday I found a new purpose for it since all the laundry was already done for the day.
I got my hair all fixed for once, on a Tuesday, to go take my Tristan to preschool. I then realized walking on the way to his school that those new shoes and outfit that I love so much, along with the new push-up bra (Thanks Marisa!)lol is killing me. No more errands to run, so off came everything! Well not everything, of course. But I needed to accomplish some home cleaning tasks and noone wants bleach on their jeans from mopping for sure. Aka: Time to put on the workout shorts and old shirt.
So yesterday my new Laundry center, became a fake-me, dressed- up, mom center.
So that way, when it came time to run back out the door to pick up my son, my clothes weren't all killed from throwing them on the couch and I even snuck my jewelry on the hangers too..
So, yes. We stay at home moms are so sneaky....and I'm all about that.
Also, Yes! that is my black bra on the hanger, I'm sure you all have one too :)
